Joely Echalar – PhD student, April 2023-

Joely has just arrived from Bolivia and is excited to explore introgression and speciation in Pseudomys.

Carina Rubio – PhD student, starting July 2023-

Carina will be researching conservation genomics of some Petrogale species and comparative genomics of Petrogale to understand how chromosome rearrangements have driven adaptation and speciation in this genus.

Melissa von Moger – PhD student (external @ANU)

Mel is researching the conservation genomics and evolution of the brush-tailed rock-wallaby (Petrogale penicillata). She is examining the genetic diversity of captive colonies in relation to the wild to help inform ongoing conservation efforts.
